Quizzes – Adding Restrictions – IP Address/Password
Instructors can require students to take quizzes and tests within a specified IP address range and/or set up a password-protected quiz.
By setting an IP address range, instructors can restrict where students are allowed to take the quiz. An IP address is a unique identifier for a device on the internet or local network. Instructors can assign a specific IP address to a quiz, ensuring students complete the quiz from a designated location, such as NE01 Room 123.
In order to set up an IP address for a quiz, please contact IT Services (604-412-7444 Option 1) and have the following information ready
- Building number (eg. NE-01)
- Your room number
