Discover – Approval Requests
Manage all learner requests to self-enroll in courses using the Manage Requests page of Discover.

Approval Set Up
To configure a course to use approval workflows, go to your course, select Edit Course from the navigation bar > Course Offering Information > and turn on Discover > Save
Enable the permission Require approval for self-enrollment requests.
Accept/Deny Approval
Go to myTools > Discover > select Manage Requests
From the list, check to see if there are requests that are pending, select the name of student
Select Approve & Next (or Decline)
If there are more student to approve, select the right pointing arrow. Students will receive a notification of their approval into the course.
Administrator notes
The approval workflows function provides organizations with the ability to create a basic approval request process. Students will be able to ‘discover’ courses and be advised of their acceptance or rejection.
Administrators can set up discoverable courses with a request approval action that can be approved or rejected by approvers.
Approvers can:
- Review a list of learner requests and approve or deny those requests to manage course enrollment.
- Approve enrollment requests with the permission Approve enrollment requests.
