Restore Deleted Items

Select Activities > Assignments > and select the assignment

Inside the assignment, select More Actions > Submission Log > locate the deleted file > Restore

A ‘restored successfully‘ confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen. Go back to the main Assignments page to see the restored assignment.

Select Activities > Assignments > More Actions > Event Log

Locate the deleted assignment topic > Restore

A ‘restored successfully‘ confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen. Go back to the main Assignments page to see the restored assignment.

Restore Deleted Discussion forums, topics, threads and posts

On the main course page, select the drop down arrow beside News > Go to News Tool > More Actions > Restore

Select the tick box beside the deleted news item > Restore

A confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen. Go back to the main News page to see the restored news item.

News Item – Delete vs. Dismiss

Select Activities > Quizzes > More Actions > Restore

Locate the deleted quiz > Restore

A ‘restored successfully‘ confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen. Go back to the main Quizzes page to see the restored quiz.
