Overview of the LOR Tool
What is the LOR?
The LOR stands for, “Learning Object Respository”. It’s an online library for storing, managing and sharing your learning resources (learning objects).
The following things are referred to as learning objects:
- a Quiz
- a Presentation
- an Image
- a Video
- or any other document file you use to create course content and learning materials for online learning.
When you publish your learning objects to the LOR, you can tag those objects with metatdata which organizes the learning objects and makes them easily searchable for others. You can classlify learning objects according to defined learning standards or goals. Then at a later date/time you can add those items you saved to the LOR to another course.
How do I find the LOR?
- Login to the Learning Hub.
- Open a course.
- Click “myTools” and then “LOR“
