Scrambled Text in Power Point slides
If the content in a Power Point file is all scrambled or if text is on top of the image, making it difficult to read on your Learning Hub page, select View as Page at the bottom left of your page.
Once selected, your Power Point slides and text should be in their correct format.
Options for viewing uploaded documents
The choice of mode setting stays with the user account so if you view a document as a page in one area of D2L, all other areas will also display this mode.
View as Page transforms a duplicate of the uploaded files into a PDF format while keeping the original file intact. This mode preserves images and links within the document. (recommended)
View as Text transforms a duplicate of uploaded files into an HTML format that is more compatible with screen readers and other adaptive technologies, all while retaining the original file. This mode may or may not retain links and images and is known to have a longer conversion time.
