Kaltura My Media – Captions

The Captions tab in the Edit page allows you to manage all caption‑related settings for your Kaltura entry. For most videos, machine‑generated captions are created automatically within 30 minutes to 2 hours after uploading a media file that contains audio. Because these auto‑captions are not fully accurate, it’s important to review and correct them to ensure accessibility and clarity for learners.

The Captions tab will allow you to:

• Upload a Captions File
• Add an Extended Audio Description
• Create New Captions
